Complete Home Remodel in Bloomfield Township
This beautiful Bloomfield Township home was recently purchased by the clients, and they wanted to renovate before moving in. They were referred to Constructeam by a previous client. The clients were on a tight timeline, but after discussing their options with Matthew Erndt, Constructeam’s Director of Construction, it was determined that we could finish before their move in date.
It was essential that the project be completed on time. The clients were having their furniture and belongings delivered from out of town, and this was not something that could be easily rescheduled.
All was looking well at first - everything started off smoothly. However, as the project progressed, multiple upgrades and change orders threatened the deadline. Several of these changes required special order items, some of which would take several weeks to be delivered. As the move in date grew nearer, it seemed as if the project extend past the agreed upon date of completion.
Thankfully, Matthew and his team pulled through. The project was completed right on time, and the clients could not be happier with the results. As you scroll through the pictures below, you’ll see why Constructeam will be the only contractor they’ll ever work with.
Complete Kitchen Renovation
Originally built in the 70’s, this kitchen was due for an update. The coffered ceiling changes the texture of the space. The recessed cans in the ceiling add ambience, while the pendants provide task lighting for the island.
The cabinetry was upgraded to a modern style, with a revised layout to better suit the needs of our clients. A quick look at the before and after pictures will show you how much of a difference the tile backsplash makes.
The Dining Room Light Shelf
Why Build A Light Shelf?
As you can see, a huge emphasis was placed on revamping the lighting during this renovation. With the space gained by raising the ceiling, we were able to create this beautiful light shelf.
The light shelf creates what some have described to be a halo-effect, brightening the room while adding an aura of warmth and comfort. You can see from the pictures that it completely transforms the room, and it is a unique touch not likely found in any other home in the neighborhood.
The Living Room
"These art niches are the center point of the Great Room. Built-in to a wall of solid marble, the mahogany provides a subtle backdrop for the art.
Once the artwork is placed, the overhead lighting will illuminate the paintings. The sleek and modern design improves the aesthetic of the room."
